Enjoy the beauty of the area with Forest Walks, The Beara way, and Garnish island.

Glengarriff National Forest is an ancient Oak forest within 2Km and is well worth a visit.

Garnish island is a short boat ride away. During your boat ride you will spot the many seals and white tailed eagles. While on the island experience the beautiful walks and many tropical plants.

Just 2km away Glengarriff village is home to a selection of shops, restaurants, galleries and pubs.

Park is 300m from Glengarriff harbour.

Providing Hard stands and Electric hook up, Glengarriff Camping has three modern shower blocks, provides family facilities and wheelchair access. As well as a campers kitchen, laundry facilities and a playground. Free wifi is available throughout the park.

    We stayed here for two nights 9/10 of June , the campsite was excellent with lovely facilities very clean and the also have a bar on site which had a lovely atmosphere. The owner Nick couldn’t be more helpful. We will be back. June 2026 – Family

    Nickey is very helpful. Showers etc are excellent. And the laundry is fantastic. Pick a pitch in the sun! It’s sheltered too. It has a pub in summer months too! September 2025 – Couple

 

  • Cracking Campsite Lots To Do
    Cracking campsite with level hard standings, grass camping pitches, EHU and good facilities. Pub on site. Nice dry family room if you’re camping and need a dry indoor space to sort food and / or play board games. Owner met us on arrival and super helpful. There’s a brilliant bike ride across the road – out of the site, turn right then not far along turn left on to the L8971 Furkeal Road and then explore. Other places to visit include the Ewe Experience and the Glengarriff Woods Nature Reserve where you’ll find some really good marked walks of varying length. August 2025
