Reviews

  • Wavecrest is one of those places that you don’t forget. The location is absolutely stunning, with incredible sea views and a real sense of peace and space. Waking up to the sound of the waves and looking out across the bay was a highlight of our trip around Kerry. The site is beautifully maintained, and the facilities were spotless throughout our stay. Everything is well organised, and it’s clear that a lot of care goes into keeping the campsite looking its best. It’s also a perfect base for exploring the Ring of Kerry, with great walks, beaches, and local pubs nearby. The staff were exceptionally professional, friendly, and welcoming, providing outstanding service throughout our stay. Nothing was too much trouble, and their attention to detail helped create a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere across the whole site. Without doubt one of the best campsites we’ve stayed at in Ireland. We’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kerry. June 2026

  • A Jewel in the Crown on the Ring of Kerry
What a fabulous site, from the fabulous Kye in reception, who is charming, knowledgeable and goes beyond to make your stay memorable, to the amazing views on every level of the campsite . This is without doubt the best campsite we have ever visited. Facilities are spotless, with a shop, pitza food truck and soon to be open deli , it’s a true Gem. We stayed an additional night and with Brid’s help we made another booking for later in the month. Can’t wait to return. May 2026 – Couple
  • Lovely campsite by the sea.
Stayed here when doing the Ring of Kerry in our campervan. Pitch down by the water so handy for morning swim. Great facilities but remember to buy your shower tokens from reception when you check in. There was a pizza pop in the night we stayed but we didn’t use it. Lots of information about local places to eat. Friendly welcome. May 2026 – Couple
