About The Apple Camping and Caravan Park

Welcome to The Apple Camping.

 

Ours is a members-based site,with places reserved for those who opt into one of our annual subscription packages. For details of subscriptions, please visit our website, and decide which package may suit you.

Our site is located on The Apple Farm, and as you might expect, there are plenty of fruit around. On one side there are plums, and on another apples, and the soft fruits are never too far either. We have won many awards for our site and products, including Great Taste, Good Food Ireland, Eurotoques, Bord Bia, Bord Failte, Food Writers Guild, McKenna’s Guide and so on, so there’s always something special at hand.

In a farm barn we have a communal campers area, where you can, sit, read, cook (bring your own cooking equipment please) and eat, as well as access WiFi. The facilities are in the barn too, and always kept clean and fresh.

From an environmental perspective, we have solar hot water, and solar-powered electricity too, helping you to enjoy a low carbon holiday. There are many activities to enjoy in the area, with lots to see and do. For more details see our website.

  • Best camping experience in Ireland so far. We were able to book spontaneously on our way throught and got a warm welcome. The site had everything you need, and is surrounded by apple trees. If you like, there’s freshest produce in the farm’s shop. Showers were clean, also has enough covered space for rainy days. Plus it’s affordable. Highly recommend! August 202

 

  • This was such a gem of a campsite to find! I was able to reserve a pitch for our tent really quickly, and whilst we were there we made the most of the shop; I can honestly say the apple juice was some of the best I’ve had in ages. Really nicely maintained and had all the necessary amenities for camping. We’d love to come back again!  June 2025

 

  • Brilliant little site. Great value, good showers / toilets / pot washing facilities, very friendly, amazing farm shop, level grassy pitches + tarmac for vehicles. High hedges give decent protection from wind.

Located on the main Limerick/Waterford road (N24), between Cahir (6km) and Clonmel (9km). From M8 Dublin/Cork Motorway take exit 10 and proceed towards Clonmel.
