About Newtown Cove Caravan Park

A superbly kept & well-supervised family run park, in a peaceful setting, just a short distance from the seaside resort of Tramore with its 4kms of sandy beach.

This park is ideally situated to explore the beauty of the local coastline and its villages or to visit Waterford City by public bus, with its many highlights, including the world-famous Waterford Crystal & Viking Triangle. There are nearby pubs and restaurants to choose from and the picturesque Newtown Cove is only a 5-minute stroll.

Cycle or walk along the Waterford Greenway which is just 12km away or Kayak the Copper Coast known for its coves, sea caves and arches. (See our website for other suggested days out). The Park has a full range of facilities which include a children’s playground, TV & Games rooms, Free Wi-Fi, Laundry, Kitchen, Campers sitting room, Motorhome services & EV Charging.

Advance booking is advisable, due to the popularity of this park. Hardstanding and All Weather pitches are available for Motorhomes & Caravans.

No Mobile Home hire available.

Sorry we are unable to accommodate Vans, Commercial Vehicles or units other than specific tourist units and we do not allow the cycling of children’s bicycles on the park.

    Newtown Cove was definitely a 5 star stay,from the minute we booked and arrived John and Sarah couldn’t have done more. We are going to this site for over 40yrs now. Our three children use to come with us but they have their own lives now. Talking about buying a caravan I know Newtown Cove would be definitely on the cards to stay with their families.   • Excellent facilities and location
    Excellent site in terms of facilities, spotless and so well kept . Warm showers 🚿 available and all facilities required to campervan or caravan in comfort .
    It’s also a great location , either to stroll to pub or into the town . I walked in and it took about 30 minutes but I was strolling not walking fast . The beach walk in Tramore itself is fantastic- the full loop takes almost an hour and is worth it . June 2026
  • Outstanding site and facilities
    We were so impressed with this whole site. Facilities were so clean and pitch outstanding. Loved the hard area side of caravan and grass area for sitting in the sun. John was so helpful and pleasant. Very well run without any fuss. Well done guys we’ll def be back! June 2026 – Family

R675 to Tramore. Turn right at 2nd roundabout in Tramore and follow signs, turn left at roundabout after Golf Club, and immediately right at next junction, 400m take left fork to park entrance.
