About Hungry Hill Lodge & Campsite

We are a family run campsite with glamping accommodation
and 6 self-catering rooms in our main lodge building. We offer
personal attention and advice on local attractions.

Situated in the heart of the Beara Peninsula on the Wild Atlantic
Way, perfect for visiting the south west of Ireland and Dursey
Island with its cable car and an excellent base for walking,
cycling, kayaking and shore fishing.

Our local store is open daily and just 100 metres away that stock
daily fresh produce. There’s a coffee/ice cream truck in the field
next to the campsite, open during the weekends

  • Great site with excellent facilities – Daniel and Jamie are very friendly and welcoming. The site is well maintained and the showers/toilets are new and immaculate. We had a great time here. Ideally situated for the Ring of Beara and Ring of Kerry.
Castletown is 15 Km away and there is a good choice of restaurants there  Date of stay: April 2022
  • Absolute gem! – What a friendly, welcoming place! Jamie and her husband were so helpful ☺️ We struggled to find a site this early in the year but Hungry Hill welcomed us with open arms – hot showers, great amenities and a perfect location- thank you.  Date of stay: February 2022
