Reviews

  • Great location and beautiful views – Woke to the sound of a curlew calling from the estuary! 5 minute walk into Clonakilty and perfect for exploring west Cork. Friendly staff, clean facilities, great value. Definitely recommend and will be back again. Stayed June 2023
  • We have just returned from a very pleasant trip to Desert Camping – The site is sloped which is a little odd for tents, but it does allow for a great view. Thought the campers kitchen was great, even has a gas hob. Toilets could do with a little refresh, but they are clean and tidy. Kids loved it and we weren’t rushed out today which was nice, we got to enjoy the town before leaving. Stayed May 2023
  • Very nice staff and VERY quiet! The site is on a working dairy farm so you get to see the milking operation if that is of interest at all.  A short walk into town, clean toilets and showers with lots of hot water. A very pleasant and relaxing stay! Stayed May 2023

From Cork City take N71 to first roundabout in Clonakilty - from Skibbereen / Dunmanway follow by-pass signs to roundabout - then follow signposting for park.
