• We stayed here for a week in July – The camp site is on the smaller side but we liked this aspect. We were in a tent with electric hook-up. Pitches are nicely spaced as regards electrics. The grass was pristine when we arrived and they are very strict about no cars on the grass, this has paid off. The facilities on site (toilets, showers, kitchen, games room) are small but perfect for the size of the site and are immaculately kept. There is a laundry room too if needed. There is a small playground area which kept the kids entertained. There is a larger public playground a short walk away that we brought the kids too as well. A short walk will bring you to the Harbour, a small local shop for necessities (Walsh’s?) Or pop across to Caherciveen for a bigger shop. We had kids with us so didn’t sample the hotel but the Watch House does a lovely coffee. Will definitely consider another visit to this campsite in the future. Stayed July 2023
• Stayed here for a few nights in July and wow what a place! Facilitates we’re 1st class. The showers were amazing. The grounds were spotless. A short walk to the pub. Highly recommend and we’ll definitely be back. Thank you ! Stayed July 2023
• We really enjoyed our stay at Valentia Island campsite. The staff were very friendly and the location is just amazing. We felt at home and it is pet friendly too. It was lovely and quiet. The grounds are kept very well and the facilities are brilliant. Stayed August 2023
