Reviews

  • Wonderful stay at Anchor Caravan Park – This is one of the best campsites that we have stayed in. The welcome at reception from Ann was great and nothing was an issue for her. The showers ,(only 50c) were immaculate as were the toilets, kitchen area and laundry. It was so handy to get a full load of washing/drying done for only a few euro. This site is so well laid out that you wouldn’t realize how many pitches are here and its on a beautiful beach. We will definitely come back as the price per night for a motorhome is nearly half that of other sites elsewhere in Kerry. well done Anchor caravan park, keep up the good work. Stayed April 2024
  • Great campsiteWe were initially booked in for 1 night but ended up staying for 3. It’s a very well run campsite and has everything that you would need. Toilets and showers are spotless, great laundry room, games room and play area for children, a short walk to the beach and very helpful staff. I would definitely recommend and will definitely return when in the area. Stayed August 2023
  • Motorhome parking – This is the best caravan site in Ireland we have travelled in a Motorhome from Belfast round the Wild Atlantic Way and having reached Anchor Caravan site near Castlegregory we vote this the best one in Ireland. From the moment you arrive Ann the owner greets you with a warm smile and welcome during your stay nothing is too much trouble for her. The site is a true home from home with special offers ie 7 nights for the price of 6 we were 4 for 3 working out at 20 euros a night. Beautiful clean spotless toilets and showers at 50 cents!! Yes 50. The washing machines come in at 2 euros a load!! Yes 2 and driers the same BUT there is a brilliant lined drying green where you hang your washing for free. Then there’s an ironing room set up again Free, there are lockable phone charging boxes again free. This site is beautifully designed with beautiful quirky plants, bikes with flowers, carved wood etc. The children’s playparks are great lots for them to do and all with soft sand bases. There is a games room with snooker.table, flip football. There’s also a separate TV lounge. AND the big bonus is a walk through the residential bit of the park through a gate and up on to the sand dunes for a fabulous silver sandy beach overlooking Tralee Bay. This site merits a 10 star award thank you so much Ann for looking after everyone. Your a star. Stayed June 2023
