• Hidden Gem
  I had the warmest and friendliest welcome imaginable on arrival. The campsite has a lovely atmosphere and is full of friendly, like-minded travellers from all over the world. The site itself is cosy, surrounded by lush trees, and the facilities were spotless throughout my stay. One of the highlights was the beautiful lake viewpoint, which is only about a 1km walk from the campsite and well worth visiting. The only downside is that the tent area is quite small and can feel a little cramped when busy. It was fine for my one-man tent, but larger tents may find space limited. The ground is also quite stony, so bringing decent tent pegs is a good idea. The kitchen doesn’t open until 7am, which wasn’t ideal for my 6am departure. Aside from that, I had a very enjoyable stay and would happily return. June 2026 – Solo Traveller
• Great campsite
  Had a great stay at Cong Campsite. The showers were excellent, the toilets were always clean, and the campers’ kitchen was well-equipped and spotless. The site was well maintained, and everything we needed was available. Would definitely recommend and look forward to returning. June 2026 – Family
• Great campsite
  This lovely little campsite is a 2km walk from the town of Cong. It’s has plenty of hard standing pitches for Motorhomes with electric hookup, but during busy times make sure you book in advance.
  They have all the facilities you’d want including a large well kitted out kitchen. While you’re in Cong, there are 3 or 4 lovely walks in the forest starting just behind the abbey ruins in the centre of Cong. Highly recommended. April 2026 – Couple
