  • Liked: Spotless showers, well equipped communal kitchen again spotless, grounds very well kept. 20 mins walk from town
Visited in March. Stayed March 2024
  • Pleasantly surprised as first time “glampers” ! – Pleasantly surprised as first time glampers ! Well maintained, clean site, great looking cooking facilities although we didn’t use them this time ! Quiet & respectful and felt safe with my 2 kids ! Lovely little playground. A slow 20 mins walk into Cong with little legs, (we got a taxi back). Corrib Cruise the following morning way exceeded our expectations. A lovely last minute getaway, will definitely return! Stayed July 2023
  • The best kitchen, dining, lounge areas I have come across so far in Ireland. A big oven is the only thing missing. Clean facilities, good tent pitch area. 30 minute walk through lovely grounds to the town. Lovely little village. Stayed July 2023

From Galway (south): Turn left in Cross, pass Fahy Car Sales on right & watch out for signs for Camping Park to left at start of high wall. From Ballinrobe (north): Left at Ashford Castle, next right. From Connemara (west): In Cong, turn left at stone cross, pass Ashford Castle, next right at the end of the high wall
