Enjoy the reflection of the moon and the ships lights on the rippling tide & fall asleep listening to the moored boats & the rolling waves on the seashore. Take a Dolphin & Nature Boat Trip along the stunning cliffs of the Shannon Estuary. Go horse riding, birdwatching, fishing, whale watching and enjoy the varied nature that Loop Head can offer!

Green Acres is just 7km from the Victorian seaside resort of Kilkee, offering watersports, spectacular cliff walks, diving, safe beach, restaurants and much more. The picturesque old fishing village of Carrigaholt is just 4km away with pubs, shops, restaurant, fishing and Dolphin Watch.

  • The perfect get away from it all
    Just home from a lovely week at the Green acres. Was looking for a mobile home with a sea view and my family and I couldn’t have been happier with the beautiful accommodation and stunning views at Green Acres. The location is very central for exploring all that West Clare has to offer with more than enough to see and do to keep us all happy for the week, including our two teenagers. Just a 5 minute drive from beautiful Kilkee. The mobile home was very comfortable, clean and well equipped and Niall was a most attentive and kind host. We were pleasantly surprised to have two bathrooms and a fridge with a freezer in the mobile home. Would highly recommend Green Acres to anyone seeking to get away from it all to a stunning location with lots to do and see at your doorstep. We are looking forward to when we can return.   • A great visit
    We booked a 2 night stay here over the May BH weekend. The camp site is clean, well run and perfect for a family get away. Our 6 year old made lovely friends and played on the beach for hours. We’re just home and we’re all exhausted from the fresh air. I would highly recommend a stay here. Niall was a pleasure to deal with and we will most certainly be back. May 2026 – Family

    We had a lovely stay with Niall in our campervan. We were told to pick oir spot. if you want the feel of wild camping but with all your essentials met, this is excellent. Niall gave us a local map and maked “off track drives” for us. Places we wouldn’t have seen without his help. Definitely be back for a longer stay. May 2026 – Family

Follow N67 to Kilkee. From Kilkee take the R487 (Loop Head Rd) for 2.5km, then turn left (follow signposts). Located directly on the “Wild Atlantic Way” route L2006. G.P.S: N52deg37.152’ W9deg 38.549’
