Reviews

  • Amazing views and private cove – Good for us being more out of season as we could pitch where we wanted. Fantastic views and amazing private rocky cove that we had to ourselves to explore and sit and watch the mesmerising waves. The toilet and shower facilities were clean. We booked last minute but you would need to book in advance in the summer months. Don’t be put off by the industrial approach, once on site you can’t see or hear anything. Stayed September 2023
  • Lovely site, great views – Great site, enjoyed our stay. There are showers and toilets on the upper and mid terrace, which are clean and well kept. There are also dish washing stations on the mid terrace too. Pets are welcome, however walks on site are limited. Patsy is always on hand if you need any help and is lovely. If you chose to set up on the lower level, there is a walk uphill to get to the shower and toilet facilities. There are plenty of bins, for general and recycling waste. The views from the site are lovely, as is the little beach which is at the bottom of the hill. Enjoyed our stay. Stayed September 2023
  • Great views, little for us. – Site is situated in an old quarry, with several terraced layers, walking distance to town centre is about a mile and a quarter, downhill there and uphill back.
Points of interest in the town are the well of St Catherine, and a few stones left from Kit’s Castle, plenty of places to eat and drink, but we moved on out of bordem after 40hrs.
Don’t expect grass to park on, it’s quite simply crushed stone.
Water and EHU on each pitch, poor TV signal, but great 5g.
Outstanding views of the bay. Toilet facilities are newish and clean.
Nice little stoney beach at the bottom of site. Stayed June 2023
