Just what I needed.
I love this place and cannot recommend it enough. I needed to get away from the hustle and bustle of cities and towns, oh, and people, so this place is perfect. Hilary is a great host and will always make sure you are happy and comfortable. I will be heading back soon. See ya later, Hilary!

Beautiful spot, lovely facilities, great host!
Just spent a fantastic couple of days in the Getaway, and I truly cannot recommend this place highly enough. Hilary is simply a wonderful, warm and welcoming host. The communal facilities are full of character and charm, but also reassuringly clean and well-kept. It’s situated in the foothills of the mountains, surrounded by idyllic scenery – and yet is only a few minutes off the main road, and 10 mins from Dungarvan town. We used it as a base to explore the Greenway and the coast. I’ll definitely be back – so much to explore in the area, and love the small, intimate feel of this campsite.

Great location. Really warm welcome
We were absolutely bowled over by the warm welcome given to us on arrival. The facilities provided in the Nook were perfect & just what we needed. The location is great, such peace & quiet! So glad we booked to stay here and we’d definitely come again.

The Getaway - Eircode X35 RT18 From Waterford - Approx 5 mins before Dungarvan, take either the L7019 or L3005 off the N25 and we are 5 mins on the right. ( avoid using the L3008 route )
