• What can I say too this fantastic site ,, from start too finish of our 3 days there it was a pleasure too see how clean and friendly this place is too tour the island , Emma was a joy too deal with and is very professional and passionate about her site ,, definitely be returning soon but for more time ,thanks again Emma.  June 2026 

• I stayed at Valentia Camping for 8 days, even though I originally planned to stay just 2, it?s that kind of place you simply don?t want to leave.
  Despite visiting in April and being quite unlucky with the weather m, I genuinely enjoyed every moment of my stay. A big part of that was Emma, the owner, whose kindness, hospitality, and constant support made all the difference. She was always around, making sure everything ran smoothly and helping with anything needed. The campsite itself is incredibly clean, peaceful, and well maintained. The hot showers were great, and the toilets were always spotless. I also used electricity without any issues and even managed to work remotely from here, which was a huge plus. During my stay, I easily did day trips by car to Ring of Kerry, Slea Drive, and even the Skellig Ring. Don?t let the island location fool you, it?s actually very convenient for exploring many of the main attractions. Valentia Island itself is stunning, and the local people are exceptionally kind and welcoming. As a solo female traveler, I felt completely safe and comfortable the entire time. I would absolutely love to come back in the summer and spend a few more days here in better weather. Highly recommended! May 2026 

• AN OASIS OF PEACE
  My first time visiting Valentia Island Caravan & Camping as a Motorhome owner, and I was impressed. Spotless facilities, manicured pitches, not overcrowded and all conveniently located (10-15 minutes walk), to the scenic Knightstown with its hotel, shops, bars and harbour walks. The one thing about this site, at this time of year anyway, was the peace, the birds chirping and the sound of a gentle breeze as it moved through the shrubbery. Great Showers ?1 for 5 minutes, Kitchen with fridge, kettle and microwave and a small games room with pool table.
  A word of caution travelling here. Come stocked up with food, (especially specific dietary requirements), toiletries etc. It is an island after all and some shops close early. Portmagee is a 10 minute drive away and may offer an alternative.
  Overall 10/10. Last word of warning, specifically for Motorhome owners, narrow roads, go slow, besides, you don’t want to miss all that spectacular scenery. September 2025 – Couple
