On the shores of Lough Rynn, a small quiet campsite offering modern camping facilities to tents, touring caravans and motor homes. Situated on the site of Lough Rinn Sport & Recreation Hub, this campsite provides top class amenities to Rowers, Canoeists & Kayakers. Fishing enthusiasts will enjoy our modern Fishing Stands
which are designed to facilitate wheelchair access. Assistance can be provided in organising the numerous activities that Co. Leitrim has to offer such as cycling, horse riding & various water-based activities.

Amenities in the locality include the Cavan & Leitrim Railway, playground, picturesque walks around Lough Rynn Castle and a host of friendly pubs and restaurants. A pathway enables a safe and scenic walk in and out of the town of Mohill.

  • Ideal for adults
    Ideal for a short quiet break. Richard is very helpful when he is around. It could do with a sign at the gate explaining how to gain entry. Not really suitable for kids as there is no play area for them. June 2026 – Solo Traveller
  • Fab spot for the Camper van. Great toilet’s and showers. 25 euro per night. And fab views over the lake. March 2026 – Couple

 

  • Beautiful small campsite. Very clean and well maintained. Great showers and bathrooms and a small kitchen with fridge and stove.
    Very nice lake ideal for paddle boarding, not great for swimming as very shallow and a lot of rocks (one of the kids got bad scrapes – in fairness it says no swimming!). Can slide in carefully or out further than the shore. Good for fishing too, saw someone take out. Pike. Nice walk into Mohill with footpath all the way. August 2025 – Family
