About Fossa Caravan & Camping Park

This well established carefully landscaped site, run by the Brosnan Family is favoured by couples and families. Many who holidayed here as children return with their children and grandchildren. Chosen as the Camping and Caravanning Club Site in the Southwest, Fossa Holiday Park is ideally located for accessing the Ring of Kerry, Gap of Dunloe, the Killarney National Park, Dingle and Slea Head, Muckross House and Gardens, Ross Castle, the Waterbus. Crag Cave and Tralee.
Set in a beautiful wooded area, in the village of Fossa, overlooking the MacGillycuddy Reeks, we are just 7 miles from Carrrantuohill – Ireland?s highest mountain. Follow a cycle/walking track for 1km and you can enter the traffic free National Park via the Fossa way at Lacabane and cycle or walk through the park to the town centre or Ross Castle.

Day tours arranged, taxi service. Pub ½ mile. On bus route to Killarney – Up to 4 buses per day with a public bus stop at the
entrance. Hostel accommodation. Facilities include modern toilet and shower blocks with Special Needs facilities; self-service laundry; Camper?s kitchen. T.V. room; Games room; Playground, Tennis Court.

The park is completely covered with free wifi for our guests.

  • Lovely break away – We had a lovely time in Fossa Caravan and Camping Park. My daughter and I stayed for 3 nights in a beautiful mobile home. Our host, Derry, was very friendly and helpful. He sent a member of the team over to show me how to use the heating if needed. Overall, lovely staff and accommodation and we’ll be back for sure. Thanks all. Stayed September 2023
  • We will be back – First time camping here and safe to say we will definetly be back! On arrival met with Derry, very friendly and helpful and then showed us to our spot. We pitched our tent for a few night, free electric hookup and had the courts and playground right beside us! We were camped near the main road which wasn?t a problem, didn?t hear traffic throughout the night! The facilities are kept spotless, seen the staff venturing around a few times each day cleaning. Showers are free and the campers kitchen kept tidy. It was a perfect base to explore Killarney, Tralee and dingle. We will be back next year for some more exploring ? Stayed August 2023
  • We’ll be back – We camped with two small children. The campsite is very family friendly and has all the amenities you could need – playground, tennis court, games room, toilets, shower rooms, laundry facilities, equipped kitchen – and all are really well kept. Staff are cleaning throughout the day so cleanliness is a top priority. Owners and staff are really friendly and helpful. Lots close by and a great base for Killarney and the wild Atlantic way. Highly recommend staying here. We’ll be back. Stayed July 2023

From Cork, Mallow & Limerick follow signs for the N72 Killorglin Road. Fossa is 5km west of Killarney Town. Fossa Caravan Park is the second park after the Church GPS N52: 04,238' W 009 5.137'
