Situated on the edge of Galway Bay with commanding views of Galway Bay and the Burren on the edge of the Wild Atlantic Way. Coastal path from park to Salthill and on to Galway City suitable for walking and cycling. Bus every 30 minutes to city from entrance. 1.5km to Salthill Village with bars, restaurants, amusement parks and the Atlantaquaria.

10am electric points, children?s playground, Campers Kitchen, Free WiFi, all-night security. Family only site.

Commercial Vehicles and traders not permitted.

Last check in 8pm July & August.

No credit or debit cards accepted. Gazebos not permitted. ?5 charge per dog

  • First class Caravan Park, definitely worth a visit.
    Excellent location, ideal for families. Lovely walk/cycle way along the beach. Excellent facilities on site which were spotlessly clean. Site in general was spotless and maintained to a very high standard.
    Staff and Owner friendly and helpful.
    Site felt very safe with young children, security on site at night.
    Definitely one of the nicest campsite we have visited and we will definitely return in the near future. June 2026 – Family

    Salthill Caravan Park is in a fantastic location, super close to everything you’d want, just a short walk to the prom, blackrock cottage and the diving board, It’s really clean and feels very safe, especially with security around at night. There is also no noise at night which is perfect for a relaxing stay. Best we have been to. June 2026 – Family

    We had stayed here before and were happy to visit again. You can now book online at this site. It is a very beautiful location on Galway Bay, immaculately clean, management are continually maintaining and upgrading, toilet blocks beautifully tiled, all sites clearly marked and you are allocated a site on arrival. Excellent security regularly checking the area and there is a code allocated to you to use the barrier. Very nice campers kitchen and recreation/dining room. This is a five star site in every way, yes it is expensive but you are paying for location and excellent services on this site. I would highly recommend. Thank you to all the staff for another great stay, looking forward to returning. March 2026 – Couple

From Sligo N17, from Dublin & Limerick to avoid the traffic & narrow roads in Galway City stay on M6. Continue through all traffic lights until you pass Dunnes Stores (Terryland) on your left hand side. Turn right at the next set of traffic lights and continue on N6 over River Corrib. Continue through traffic lights until you come to Dean Roundabout. Take second exit off Roundabout & continue through 3 sets of traffic lights. At next set of traffic lights turn right R337. Continue for 1km until you see Tesco on right hand side. Take next left after Tesco. 200m on right you will see our large blue sign Salthill Caravan Park, Turn right immediately here Eircode Eircode H91 K856
