Very clean site. Toilet block was cleaned every hour during our stay. Hot showers plenty of loo roll. Used washing machine. No road noise. Drove over Sally gap and found this popular site. Easy walk to town. Reception was very friendly and helpful.

  • A lovely weekend. Family with young kids
Great time spent camping. Site was clean, some parts dated but well looked after. We stayed in a tent, the area we were in was ok, we were pitched near top of site which was close enough to the road so there was some traffic noise at night so ear plugs may come in handy for lighter sleepers. BBQ area and drinking water tap right opposite us which was a bonus. The campers kitchen was big with plenty of benches, but with only a fridge, freezer, toaster and microwave there we didn’t use it. I thought a kettle would be a handy addition here. The sinks are outside kitchen but beside waste disposal for campervans etc so the smell wasn’t great up here while washing up. The playground was good and modern, this was used alot by my kids who had the best time here! The toilets were spotless with toilet roll, soap and hand dryers. The park felt very safe and the owner was very friendly and could be seen walking around the park which I thought was really good to see. The noise was fine, 10pm curfew, they aren’t super strict on this as long as people aren’t making too much noise, both nights by 11pm it was pretty much silent which suited us fine with young kids and tired adults!! Location brilliant, only 5 min walk to village with centra, pubs, chipper, chemist. All in all a great weekend was had here.
