Avis

  • Great week – Just back from a weeks stay in Battlebridge, lovely campsite we found toilets, showers clean, Joe the owner was cleaning same every morning at 8am. ?1.50 for 8mins shower was good value. Weather was extremely warm all week but we cycled the greenways & to Leitrim village. Fished in the Shannon & swimming in Lough Allen. Also had a pint or 2 in the beer garden each evening. There was a hen party there on the Saturday who were letting off a bit of steam (as hens do) but it was nothing over the top, just enjoying themselves. Chatted with some very nice fellow caravaneers/campers who were all delighted to get away from home in the nice weather. Overall a very nice well run friendly site with plenty to do locally & not too expensive either. Highly recommended Date of stay July 2021
  • Nice campsite – Very friendly and helpful staff. Good facilities, nice short walk from Leitrim village. Lovely food in the Bar/restaurant. Only one fault, I stayed on a Saturday night, there was a hen party in the glamping pods and they made a bit of noise on their way back to the pods during the night. But I will definitely go back to this campsite again. Date of stay July 2021

From Carrick-on-Shannon take the R280 to Leitrim. Turn left towards Keadue (R284) 1km to Beirnes of Battlebridge (pub).
