The site comprises a group of 5,000-year-old Neolithic passage tombs.&nbsp; The site is spread across three hilltops, Carnbane East, Carnbane West, and Patrickstown. It was constructed over a thirty year period by Hugh de Lacy and his son Walter as the home of the Lordship of Meath.
