\"\"Are you one of the lucky ones that are planning a few days away over the June Bank Holiday weekend or maybe you have a longer holiday planned touring around Ireland? Ever thought of visiting a Lighthouse or going underground to experience Ireland?s caves? Here are some great places to visit whilst you are touring around Ireland in your caravan or motorhome.

Camping Ireland<\/strong><\/a> has over 100 member caravan & camping parks throughout the Island of Ireland. All are quality approved sites in great locations; you will never be stuck for somewhere to stay.<\/p>

\"\"Have you ever visited a lighthouse? With spectacular lighthouses dotted around the coastline of Ireland the problem will be which one you choose to visit. If you are planning on spending a few days in Donegal<\/strong><\/a> or Antrim<\/strong><\/a> you will have a chance to visit 2 of the islands finest lighthouses. Starting in Donegal<\/a> Fanad Lighthouse, learn about Fanad Head Lighthouse and this remote, rugged area in the cosy visitor centre. Accessible by boat, Rathlin West Light is located on Rathlin Island. Known as Ireland?s only ?upside down? lighthouse, be sure to take a tour of it and embrace the views from its cliff-face vantage point to get a real insight into lightkeeping life. If you are touring the Wild Atlantic Way and stopping off for a night or two in Clare<\/strong><\/a> you must take a trip to Loop Head. Here you will find Loop Head Lighthouse. Uncover the fascinating history of Loop Head lighthouse with interactive exhibits in the Lightkeeper?s Cottage, or take a guided tour up the lighthouse tower and onto the balcony. A trip to Kerry<\/strong><\/a> must include a visit to Valentia Island and its magnificent lighthouse.\"\" Take a tour of the lighthouse tower and balcony. Be blown away by the dramatic scenery and big weather!. Holidaying in Cork<\/strong><\/a>, you must visit Ballycotton Lighthouse. A black lighthouse (one of only two in Ireland) it is only accessible by boat. This makes a trip to Ballycotton Lighthouse something very special. The East coast you will find Hook Head Lighthouse in Wexford<\/strong><\/a>. A jewel in the Ireland?s Ancient East crown, guided tours of the lighthouse tower are on offer seven days a week.<\/p>

Visitors can explore a spectacular underworld of rivers, waterfalls and winding passages. Holidaying along the Wild Atlantic Way and you have a choice of a number of great caves to visit. Firstly, in Clare<\/strong><\/a> you have Ailwee Caves, home to the longest free-hanging stalactite in Europe. Nearby is Doolin Cave where you will find ?The Great Stalactite,? which at 7 meters (23 ft) is one of the largest free hanging stalactites in the world. Kerry<\/strong><\/a> has great things to see and do and many great campsites for you to pitch up for a night or two. \"\"Not to be outdone in the cave category Crag Cave is thought to be over one million years old. It is one of the longest caves in Ireland and has two levels. On the foot of the Galtee Mountains in Tipperary<\/strong><\/a> you will find Mitchelstown Caves. The caves are considered some of the most spectacular caves in Ireland and are amongst the finest limestone caves in Europe. Not to be outdone Roscommon<\/strong> <\/a>has its own jewel in the crown ? Arigna Mining Experience, where mining was still going on in Arigna until 1990. Tours are led by ex-miners, so you will get firsthand the experience and reality of working in a mine.<\/p>
