Well its official, winter is over. Spring has well and truly arrived and we are really enjoying the lovely sunshine. Schools are closed for over 2 weeks and with the prospect of sunny days it?s time to air your caravan, spring clean your motorhome and get ready for a great Easter break.<\/p>

Whether you?re looking to spend time with family, catch up with friends or celebrate 2016 centenary, there are plenty of activities to choose from. With a variety of exciting breaks to enjoy from Easter Egg hunts, family getaways and commemoration events you?ll be spoilt for choice.<\/p>

Ireland 2016 marks the centenary of the Easter Rising. Why not join the crowds that will line O?Connell Street to be part of this monumental day of ceremonies to mark the occasion. You can pitch up your caravan or motorhome at the site<\/a> just off the M50 and get a bus straight into the celebrations or why not stay at one of the many parks in Wicklow<\/a> and take the Dart from Bray into Dublin<\/a><\/p>

With the clocks going forward, Easter weekend, the great outdoors beckons offering great activities and fun for all the family. Take your bike on the Western Bike Trail in Mayo<\/a> or on the Ballyhoura Forest Trail in Tipperary<\/a>.<\/p>

If walking is your thing visit the National Heritage Park in Wexford<\/a> where they have a new 180m trail taking visitors deep into the<\/p>

\"\"woodlands or visit the many beautiful sandy beaches on the South East. You might even enjoy dining al fresco with a picnic at Morricastle Strand or Duncannon Beach, Wexford<\/a><\/p>

In Kerry, the Cloghane Brandon Walking Festival takes place. In Mayo<\/a> you have the Westport annual Easter Walking Festival taking place. This is an ideal time to get out walking whilst overnighting in one of the main caravan sites in Kerry<\/a> and Mayo.<\/p>

Why not immerse yourself in the wild beauty of the Wild Atlantic Way. With many caravan sites situated on this breath-taking route you can experience first-hand all that the Wild Atlantic Way has to offer.<\/p>

We can?t forget the kids and what would Easter be without an Easter Egg Hunt. Many of our parks offer their own hunt onsite with great activities planned for Lough Key<\/a> and Nore Valley<\/a>. Ailwee Cave celebrates its 40th<\/sup> anniversary this year and have a Cadbury?s 3,000 Crème Egg Hunt on Easter Sunday – a great opportunity to visit beautiful Clare<\/a> and also get your share of chocolate for Easter.<\/p>
