\"\"Are you like me – pack everything but the kitchen sink when you are going on holiday?  Well, if you are one of the lucky ones to holiday in a motorhome you can take the kitchen sink!!! Motorhomes are very self-sufficient ample sleeping room, fully equipped cooking area (including the kitchen sink) toilet and shower on board, electric hook-up to power your devices and freedom to travel around at your leisure.

Did you know former US President Barack Obama and US actor Mathew McConaughey own their own motorhomes? Maybe the next time they come to Ireland they will get to experience an Irish motorhome holiday.<\/p>

Ireland is an ideal country to holiday in a motorhome. Camping Ireland<\/a> has over 100 sites throughout the Island of Ireland where you can hook-up your motorhome, stay for a couple of nights or move on in the morning to your next destination, the choice is yours.<\/p>

\"\"Travelling along the Wild Atlantic Way<\/a> in your motorhome, you can truly experience the wild and rugged landscape, stopping off along the route for a picnic; do some surfing or walking the many famous beaches in the area. Planning on visiting Sligo<\/a>, don?t forget to stop off at Strandhill, Mecca for surfers or the flat sands of Culleenamore great for family fun. With great motorhome parks to pitch up for the night or two you can spend the day exploring, cook-up a hearty meal in your campervan that evening and re-charge your batteries for another day of exploring. Travelling onwards to Mayo<\/a>, maybe you want to stretch your legs. A great spot for all the family is the Western Greenway where you can cycle from Achill to Westport or part of this 42km route. Staying in Achill, you must visit Keem Bay, I assure you the trip will be well worth it.<\/p>

\"\"Wouldn?t it be lovely to drive through the Burren in your campervan, stopping off for a picnic or to explore along the way? Staying at one of the many motorhome sites throughout Clare<\/a> you will be able to travel to great locations and visit many famous attractions as well as the Burren, including the Cliffs of Moher, Ailwee Caves or even take the ferry from Doolin to visit the Aran Islands. The popularity of Kerry<\/a> and Cork<\/a> for motorhome holiday makers is evident when you are travelling around. You will find it easy to navigate the coastline in your motorhome, stopping along the way to overnight in great sites. You can park up your motorhome in Tralee, Killarney, Skibbereen or Clonakilty for the night in one of the great sites and take a short stroll into the towns. Have a few drinks, nice meal and maybe join in the sing-song in the local pub.<\/p>
