Fabulous site with the most beautiful beaches. – We stayed in Sandybanks for a second time with our caravan. It is very well run, clean with good showers and facilities. The staff are very helpful and it is in a perfect spot to see nature at its best. Stunning part of the world. Lots to do in the local area and further a field. The views are truly amazing and the locals are very friendly.Date of stay: April 2022
Beautiful beachside campsite – The campsite has direct access to Keel beach and has lovely views in all directions of mountains, cliffs and the sea. We (2 adults 2 kids) stayed here in a tent for 2 nights and were given a lovely pitch close to the beach where we could go asleep to the sound of the waves breaking. Staff were all extremely friendly and helpful and toilets were cleaned regularly. Crepes, Coffee, Ice-creams and smoothies were all available from pop-up stalls near the entrance, there is a chipper and a shop within a short walk. The second night we were there the weather was wet and windy, and we really noticed the exposed location – we were pleasantly surprised that the tent made it through the night! All in all a great experience and we’ll be back to stay here again.
