5 stars – A real relaxing place. Great play park for the kids and great walks. Kids had a ball. Nice big pitches, plenty of room for a big tent nice facilities. Lots of hot water in kitchen and bathrooms. Nice little coffee shop on site. The coffee was delicious there. Date of stay: June 2021
- Myself and my son and daughter stayed here a number of nights while we were camping in a camper. We used it as a base to see many sites in the area and along that stretch of the Wild Atlantic Way.
The setting is perfect for a family camping site or if you want peace and quiet. The layout is very good so you have a choice. The facilities are excellent with everything you need on site. The owner who operates the site could not be more pleasant and he and the staff are very helpful and friendly. One of the best campsites in Ireland for sure. It is worth spending time walking the forest trails and parkland and the original Curraghchase House, very impressive. Date of stay Summer 2021
From Dublin/Galway/Tipperary/Cork: Take Junction 2 off the M7 Motorway for Foynes/Listowel on the N69. Curraghchase is located in Kilcornan village. From Tralee: Take the N69 to Kilcornan Village. From Killarney: On the N21 drive from Rathkeale to Askeaton and go east on the N69 for Kilcornan Village.
