Family Run caravan park close to Killarney

Set in the countryside surrounded by green fields but only a few minutes by car from Killarney town. The O Donoghue Family have been welcoming caravanners and campers since 1962 to their popular, award winning, well landscaped, sheltered caravan and camping park.

The park has 30 electric hook ups for tourers and tents,spotlessly clean washrooms,fully tiled showers,kitchen with fridge freezer and tv,laundry room,motorhome hygeine service area,payphone,picnic tables,free fishing,dog walks,local information and personal supervision.  Free Wi-Fi

Local Attractions

There is a lovely walk to the River Flesk, which meanders through the farm, and a quiet country lane walk from the park to the local pub and restaurant. Visit our National Farm Museum and Traditional Irish Cottage. The National Park, Lakes of Killarney, Muckross House and Ross Castle (the ancestral home of the O Donoghues) are within cycling distance (6km. approx). Ideal base for touring the Ring of Kerry, Dingle and Beara Peninsulas. Coach toours to these places and the Gap of Dunloe leave the Park every morning.
There is a very good Taxi service available. Public Bus stops on request at Park entrance.

Located 3kms. east of Killarney town on the N22 Killarney-Cork road.

 

From Killarney: Take the N22 Cork Road, through the Park Road roundabout, pass Supervalu and down the hill. Continue on the N22 up the next hill to N22/N72 roundabout. Park is 200 metres from there.

 

From Kenmare/Ring of Kerry: 2 routes -

(a) R569 caravan friendly via Kilgarvan and on towards Killarney on the N22.

(b) The N71 - approaching Killarney, at Countess roundabout after traffic lights, turn right (2nd exit) into Countess Road and follw the N22 Cork signs.

 

From Cork: 80kms, on the N22 Cork-Killarney Road. Park entrance is 1km, after passing Railway crossing.
